Jaco Vessel Engineering (Pico Rivera, CA) has been established as a metal fabrication and field service business in Southern California, with their primary focus being the welding of stainless steel and aluminum alloys. The formation of the company is a transition from Quality Vessel Engineering, Inc., which was formerly located in Santa Fe Springs,CA, that took place when Jaco Engineering, Inc. (Anaheim, CA) acquired the assets of QVE and transferred their experienced staff to its new location in Pico Rivera.
Although they have a new company and name, the majority of the personnel have experience in metal fabrication that dates back to the original company, which was Howard Fabrication. Howard eventually became QVE, manufacturing products and services that are used by major aerospace facilities, food and beverage processing facilities, pharmaceutical plants, oil and gas operations, even metal art sculptures and anyone needing metal fabrication .
Equally important to the various products produced is the field service portion of the business. Jaco has years of experience handling installations, plus repairing and modifying metal tanks/vessels, piping and structures with crews and equipment dedicated to quick response situations.
The new business venture is backed by Jim Armstrong, an entrepreneur and experienced businessman that was the owner of Stork Garwood Laboratories (Pico Rivera, CA) for many years. Garwood provided product testing for many of the same companies needing the services of Jaco Vessel Engineering. Armstrong sold Garwood recently to National Testing Services. Jaco Vessel Engineering is located in the former Garwood Labs facility in Pico Rivera, which is owned by Armstrong.
