Safety Today, Inc. (Grove City, OH) is pleased to announce the launch of its fully featured website for United States customers at www.safetytoday.com, as well as its sister site serving Canadian customers, www.safetytoday.ca.
Founded in 1946, the company is one of North America’s oldest dedicated safety consultancies and distribution centers, operating globally from headquarters in both the United States and Canada. Product libraries on each site are pre-sorted to deliver product results in line with relative national standards including The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and CSA International (Canadian Standards Association).
The new site has extensive content, including an overview of available safety training initiatives. Committees that included purchasing, sales, and customer service representatives studied customers’ buying habits and then completely evolved the product mix to achieve a blend of best value and optimum protection. This product mix, when combined with consultation from our industry-recognized safety experts, helps to reduce risk to people and property in away-from-home environments.
The site’s product library is comprised of leading vendor-supported safety products as well as the company’s own manufactured brands, marketed under the Brass Knuckle™ and Body Armor™ trade names.
The website suggests that all employees, at any level of the company, assist safety directors, purchasing professionals, risk managers, plant managers and more in making well-informed decisions about workplace safety. A new online video, “We are Safety Today,” gives voice to employees at all levels within the Safety Today organization who strive to return customers home in the same condition in which they arrived at work.
“If we accept that there is no such thing as zero-risk, then we must accept that we can never stop evolving and expanding our safety programs. We must be vigilant for our customers’ sake and that’s what motivated the new site,” said Tony Spearing, the vice president of Safety Today. “The new site expands the ways we counsel and assist our customers in the continuously changing, important area of personal and workplace safety.”
