Okuma America Corporation (Charlotte, NC), a world leader in CNC machine tool manufacturing, is pleased to announce that Brad Klippstein has been named the controls product specialist. He is responsible for educating and training customers and distributors on the benefits and effectiveness of the company’s PC-based, open architecture THINC®-OSP CNC control.

The OSP control is a highly reliable, easy to use CNC control capable of integration with new generations of software and hardware technology. It enables access to almost any application and peripheral equipment including factory management systems, and interfaces with bar code readers, barfeeders, robots, probes and tool setters to help streamline production.

“Brad has a wealth of experience and knowledge as a controls programming engineer helping customers improve their efficiencies. We look forward to the impact he is going to make in teaching our distributors and customers how to leverage the advantages of an OSP control,” says Wade Anderson, the product specialist sales manager.

Klippstein holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toledo. He has several years of experience in the manufacturing industry working with machine tool controls, and he will be based out of Charlotte, NC.
