Grinding Technology Partners with KOMET
Grinding Technology can now regrind and refurbish KOMET tools and manufacture their custom solid carbide tools.

KOMET of America, Inc. (Schaumburg, IL) and Grinding Technology LLC (Houston, TX) are pleased to announce the official start of their KOMET SERVICE® Partnership. Grinding Technology is now authorized to regrind and refurbish KOMET tools, as well as to manufacture their custom solid carbide tools.
On November 6 the two companies marked the official start of their partnership with a ceremony, cocktails, and open house, with over 50 people in attendance. Guests included KOMET of America representatives and Grinding Technology employees’ families, as well as customers, distributors, and business partners of both companies.
After the official ceremony, whereby Grinding Technology was awarded an official plaque and tool refurbishment handbook, attendees were treated to food and refreshments, as well as tours of the shop and live demonstrations.
Bill Perego, the vice president of Grinding Technology, is clearly excited for the new association, saying, “Though we have just begun our partnership together, we are already seeing the benefits. We have already had increased market exposure through KOMET, as well as joint meetings with distributors in the Houston metro area. We are positive that this will help grow our business.”
