SKS Establishes Subsidiary in Turkey
The strategy is to develop this market for automated welding technology.

SKS Welding Systems GmbH (Kaiserslautern, Germany), has announced the founding of a new subsidiary, with SKS Welding Systems Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi now serving users and investors in Turkey.
Some of the services provided to customers include, in particular, professional advice, individual solutions and a faster service. The person to ensure this is Serdar C. Arıcan, the managing director of the Turkish subsidiary. Having extensive experience in the field of automated welding technology, his industrial knowledge and technical skills should additionally foster customer satisfaction and the development of the market.
With the establishment of its this subsidiary, the company further expands its international presence. “Here we are expanding our international network and thus our customer proximity in important industrial countries. This ensures that our product developments, specifically for robot-assisted arc welding processes, and our technical support reach the users and in-country subsidiaries of our international customers on-site,” says the managing director, Markus Klein, explaining an aspect of the corporate strategy.
The owner-managed company has been serving industrial users of automated welding technology for 25 years. A focus of SKS activities is on the automotive industry and its suppliers; other focus areas include stationary and circular welding equipment.
Since managing director Dieter Klein founded SKS back in 1989, the welding specialist has evolved from a specialized dealer to a developer and manufacturer of automated welding technology and today has a leading position in this technology sector.
