COE Press Equipment (Sterling Heights, MI) has announced a reorganization and new management team to better position the company for future growth while strengthening competitiveness.
These changes include the appointment of Hunter Coe as the president, replacing his father John Coe, who will retain his chief executive officer position. Other new appointments include Jim Ward to the director of engineering and Jeff Grivas as director of sales.
“We have been assessing our operations as well as the trends in metal forming markets over the last year,” said John Coe, “and from these we put together a management team with deep industry and technical experiences that we felt were best equipped to lead the company into the next generation.”
The company is a family-owned business that was originally established by John Coe in 1976. Hunter Coe joined the company as a regional sales manager in 2008. In 2013, under his direction, the company began a Cut-to-Length business unit to expand company capability into new markets. The reorganization will provide additional support to this unit as well as focusing on expanding COE’s traditional coil processing business.
COE Press Equipment designs and manufactures a complete line of premiere coil handling and servo roll feed equipment from stand-alone roll feeds, straighteners, reels, cradles and air feeds to complete integrated feed line systems including the heaviest and widest coil feeding systems available for the metal stamping industry today.
