Abtex Corp. (Dresden, NY), a leading manufacturer of brush/machine deburring solutions for the manufacturing industry, has created the Abtex Deburring Systems Group to help customers streamline their deburring operations through the use of machine vision, robotics, and other automation technologies.
The deburring systems division will help customers smoothly integrate deburring equipment into existing operations for unexpected efficiency. Well-designed systems provide manufacturers a wide range of benefits, from enhancing the flow of a single operation to efficiently connecting multiple operations to deburring multiple surfaces of a part in a single step, according to Abtex owner and president Mark Fultz.
“For many manufacturers, additional efficiency and cost-savings are just an innovative system away,” Fultz said.
The new division will be headed by company executive Jason Saner, whose manufacturing experience includes operations, sales, and sales management on both national and international levels.
“The formation of the “DS” Group, in conjunction with our recent acquisition of Nihmble Technologies, completes the marriage between brush and machine for us in that we are now able to address the activities leading up to and following deburring,” Saner said. “Expanding our capabilities in vision, robotics, material handling and conveyance allows us to address all of our customer needs and makes Abtex a total solution provider.”
Saner, who has been with the company since July of 2013, is a graduate of LeMoyne College and holds an MBA from the University of Rochester’s Simon School of Business. He and his family live in Branchport, NY.
