Virtek Vision and Baykal Machinery Sign Distribution Agreement
Baykal will sell Virtek first article inspection systems in Turkey through regional offices and appointed dealers of its sheet metal fabrication machinery.

Virtek Vision International, Inc. (Waterloo, ON), a market leader in the field of laser-based
manufacturing technologies, signed a distribution agreement with Baykal Machinery (Bursa, Turkey) for the LaserQC® inspection system. Baykal is a leading manufacturer and global supplier of sheet metal fabrication machinery, specializing in press brakes, shears, notchers, punching machines, laser cutting systems, plasma cutting machines, waterjet cutting and vertical machining centers.
The addition of the LaserQC system to the Baykal portfolio will expand the reach of their machinery products into the quality control departments of their current customer base, as well as new prospects. Headquartered in Bursa, the machine tool manufacturer will sell the LaserQC 800, 1200 and AFM inspection systems through regional offices and appointed dealers.
With an evolution of more than 15 years and over 1,000 systems installed worldwide, LaserQC is a family of rapid inspection systems that employs lasers to measure the accuracy of two-dimensional and formed parts to very tight tolerances. Advantageous for sheet metal and other manufacturing environments to improve quality control and reduce waste, LaserQC’s intuitive user-interface allows all cutting and punch machine operators to quickly become fully proficient in proofing their own parts, removing the QCvbottleneck.
The system is designed for first article inspection, quality reporting (SPC, ISO, Lean, etc.), and reverse engineering.
