AICON Opens Office in Japan
To handle inspection and testing opportunities in this region more efficiently, the new subsidiary in Yokohama will support sales and service of optical camera-based 3D measuring systems.

Whether in Japan, China, Korea, Malaysia or India – AICON 3D Systems (Braunschweig, Germany) successfully penetrates the Asian market. In order to handle requests from the Japanese region more efficiently, the company has recently opened a subsidiary in Yokohama, Japan.
Hisashi Sawa, who has many years of experience in the field of scanning technologies, manages the office. He supports the company’s Japanese sales partners regarding all technical and commercial issues.
Carl-Thomas Schneider, the AICON president, comments on this step as follows, “By opening this subsidiary, we can much better manage and coordinate our growing sales activities in Japan.
