TECHNI Waterjet Celebrates 25 Years

TECHNI Waterjet™ (Lenexa, KS) is celebrating their 25th Anniversary this year. The company was formed in 1989 by Darren Reukers and Glenn Langdon to provide robotic and automation systems to the automotive industry.

After finding a niche in the robotic waterjet market for high speed trimming of automotive components, such as headliners, floor and trunk carpets, door panels and instrument panels, TECHNI Waterjet took off and has since become a global leader in the waterjet industry.

Each year the firm has progressed while introducing newer and better products and in more countries, across the world, than ever before. In 2004, the company opened a U.S. operation to meet the expanding needs of our North American customer base. By 2009, the U.S. operation has grown to equal the worldwide operations.

TECHNI also introduced a European operating facility in Poland to keep up with the constant demand of waterjet cutting technologies in Europe. In 2013, they opened up a facility in Thailand to accompany the ever growing Asian market.
