Fischer Precise USA Changes Name
In honor of its 75th anniversary, the company has changed its name to Fischer USA with new branding that will be introduced at the International Manufacturing Technology show this year.

To honor the company’s 75th anniversary, Fischer Precise USA, Inc. (Racine WI), a manufacturer of precision machine tool spindles, is changing its name to Fischer USA, Inc. A new logo and branding, which will be formally introduced at the International Manufacturing Technology Show on September 8th through the 13th of this year, unifies and streamlines the company identity across all its brands.
“While our name and brand are changing, the company’s commitment to quality, innovation and customer care remains the same,” said Ryan Brath, the president of Fischer Precise. “Our anniversary also provides us with an opportunity to celebrate our Swiss heritage and recognize the loyal customers and team members that have made our company a success for more than seven decades.”
The Precise Corporation was founded by the Schumann family in 1941 as Precise Products Corporation. The company was privately held until 2006, when it was sold to the Swiss-based Fischer AG Prazisionsspindeln. It was founded in 1939. In the U.S., the company was known as Fischer Precise USA, Inc.
“We are proud that Fischer USA has been able to thrive in a highly competitive marketplace by maximizing our customers’ benefits through innovation, reliability, and outstanding quality,” said Brath. Fischer USA provides new spindles manufactured under the Fischer, Precise and Fortuna brands, and repairs and services virtually all makes and models of spindles.
