Metallurgical Engineer Joins Laboratory Testing
Greg Fackler joins the company’s metallography lab and will be responsible for performing the full-range of metallography services.

Greg Fackler of Lansdale, PA has accepted the position of metallurgical engineer at Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI; Hatfield, PA). In this capacity, he joins the team of metallurgical engineers in the company’s metallography lab and will be responsible for performing the full-range of metallography services including microstructure examinations, macrostructure examinations and microhardness testing in accordance with AMS, ASTM, ASME and MIL specifications. Fackler will also handle SEM analysis and other testing and evaluation required for conducting failure analyses.
Previously, Fackler worked at Allied Tube & Conduit as a plant metallurgist where he conducted internal audits, supervised the quality department and performed tests on materials and specimens to ISO standards. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now called Missouri University of Science and Technology) with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering.
The metallography services performed at Laboratory Testing are PRI/Nadcap and A2LA accredited and are completed according to specified internal and industry procedures.
In addition, LTI provides accredited chemistry, mechanical testing, corrosion testing and nondestructive testing services. LTI’s quality system is in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485. Customers receive a Certified Test Report with each order showing complete results of all testing performed.
