OMCO Breaks Ground for Expanded Indiana Plant

OMCO (Wickliffe, OH), along with local economic development officials, officially broke ground for its 42,000 sq ft Pierceton, IN, expansion. The $6.7 million project, which should increase plant capacity by over 50 percent, adds additional capability to what is already the country’s largest custom manufacturer of roll formed parts.

The expansion includes new roll forming lines and the re-design of existing lines to improve manufacturing flexibility, customer lead times and overall plant throughput.

Founded in 1955, OMCO is the largest custom roll former in the United States. The company is headquartered in Wickliffe and develops highly engineered shapes for a diverse set of industries including agriculture, appliance, building products, construction, conveyors, storage systems, transportation and solar.

OMCO has four manufacturing facilities in the United States that represent over 500,000 sq ft of manufacturing space with more than 50 active roll forming mills, over 50 presses, and dozens of other metalworking operations.
