Fronius Promotes Mark Carter to Area Sales Manager for Minnesota and North Dakota

Fronius USA, LLC (Portage, IN), a subsidiary of Fronius International GmbH and manufacturer of welding equipment has recently promoted Mark Carter to the new Area Sales Manager for Minnesota and North Dakota. Carter started with Fronius in April 2012 as an Application Engineer.

Carter began his career as a Metals Technology Specialist in the United States Air Force in 1990, where he fabricated and welded precision aircraft components for C130 cargo planes. After his service in the military, he opened a welding repair and fabrication business, supporting the marine industry of Lake Superior in Northern Wisconsin. Subsequently, he educated manufacturers in welding principles, OSHA safety, and Lean Manufacturing, and additionally, provided quality control. This naturally led to a teaching position at a prominent college in Minneapolis, MN, in 2008 where he worked until coming to Fronius.
