Airgas Recognized as John Deere “Partner-Level” Supplier for 2013

Airgas, Inc. (Randor, PA) has earned recognition as a Partner-level supplier for 2013 in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program. The Partner-level status is Deere & Company’s highest supplier rating.
Airgas was selected for the honor in recognition of its dedication to providing products and service of outstanding quality as well as its commitment to continuous improvement.
“We are honored to be recognized with Deere & Company’s highest supplier rating for 2013,” said Airgas president and chief executive officer Michael L. Molinini. “Airgas associates across many locations and disciplines are instrumental in creating value for our customers every day, and this recognition by Deere is a testament to Airgas’ customer-centric approach to business.”
Airgas associates accepted the honor during formal ceremonies held on February 18th in Davenport, IA.
Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness. John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement.
