Lexair named North American distributor for Breuning IRCO Automatic Bar Feed Systems

Lexair (Lexington, KY) has been named the exclusive distributor of Breuning IRCO bar-feed loading and unloading systems in North America. The manufacturer and importer provides sales, support and repair services for the high-performance German-made automated systems that serve high-volume, cylindrical and shaped-part makers in the heavy equipment, automotive and aerospace industries, among others.

“The combination of our product line and Lexair’s sales and service network offer exceptional possibilities to bring this productivity-enhancing equipment to more customers in North America,” said Wolfgang Huslig, technical director.

IRCO offers three models of magazines – the PROFImat, ecoPROFI and SiMag – to meet specific needs for multi-channel or single-channel loading. All three are available in standard lengths of 3000, 4000 and 6000 mm (10, 13 and 20 ft), with custom models available for bars up to 10,000 mm (33 ft) long.

All models can handle bar diameters up to 160 mm (6.3 in), or larger upon request. A unique multi-channel loading magazine on the PROFImat and ecoPROFI models allows one-button channel changes in seconds. Fully automated unloading systems – the ILS-REX and ILS-TEX – are also available for unloading workpieces directly from the chuck, turning lathes into highly productive turning centers.
