COE Press Equipment (Sterling Heights, MI) has announced the formation of its COE Cut-to-Length new business unit focused on providing cut-to-length (CTL) lines to fabricators and metal stampers who are looking to achieve the cost savings associated with producing blanks in-house. COE Press Equipment has extensive experience in developing CTL lines, having delivered numerous lines in the past few years, and is formalizing this capability through the new business unit.
“We believe there is great growth potential for in-house blanking among OEMs and general fabricators,” said COE Press Equipment general sales manager Jim Ward. “We know from experience that our CTL lines can provide manufacturers with better operational control, improved quality and reduced processing costs to achieve a quick ROI.”
COE’s “Value-Added Series” CTL lines are built to meet each customer’s specific needs and can process coil from 12 in- 72 in wide, .010 in- .250 in material thickness, and 6,000 lb – 60,000 lb coil weights in a variety of materials including CR Steel, HR Steel, Galvanized, Stainless, Pre-painted and Aluminum. Other benefits include process streamlining and scrap reduction.
Hunter Coe has been appointed as Cut-to-Length business manager for the new COE Press business unit. He will lead an internal sales team and a unique sales representative network that is focused on the “Value-Added Series” CTL lines.
