The new Mobile Tapping Table XL from Ohio Laser LLC (Plain City, OH) is designed for use with a tapping arm and features rugged all-welded steel construction that is ideal for heavy duty industrial and manufacturing work environments.
With a flexible tapping and assembly area that can be easily moved throughout a plant, the Mobile Tapping Table XL complements flexible cell manufacturing by reducing setup time and material handling.
Along with providing a flexible tapping and assembly area that can be moved throughout a plant, the Mobile Tapping Table XL – lowers material handling costs when placed next to a laser, plasma, turret press, mill or drill; provides tool and die repair shops with a mobile solution for tapping, drilling, and grinding; lowers tapping costs for machine tool shops by enabling them to use the Mobile Tapping Table in place of a CNC; and replaces existing, less functional tables for all types of manufacturers and fabricators, increasing productivity even more.
The Mobile Tapping Table XL features an extra large top work surface (39 in X 47 in) that is 36 in high (the ergonomic green zone), a fixed bottom shelf for convenient storage with a raised lip edge design on three sides to retain parts, a debris chute for for easy cleanup and shavings removal, and a formed-down bottom lip for easy cleaning.
A durable black powder coat finish provides rugged duty to withstand harsh work environments. Phenolic wheel casters, 2 swivel with brake, 2 rigid, each have a 2,000 lb capacity each. (A tapping arm, vise and waste can are all available as options.)
