Hurco Premieres New Web Series about Machinists

Hurco (Indianapolis, IN), in partnership with Sandvik Coromant and with support from SME, debuted a new web series at the Canadian Manufacturing & Technology Show (CMTS) during Student Day. The new reality web series, CycleStartTM, was created to attract young people to the machinist trade and features machinists in their environment.

“Shops across Canada and the U.S. suffer from a lack of machinists and we felt this new web series would be a great way to get the next generation interested in a career in the skilled trades,” says Joe Poulin, Canadian Sales Manager for Hurco North America. “CycleStartTM will illustrate what a career as a machinist entails, how important it is, and the many career paths available.”
