Advanced Roll Feeding, Cut-To-Length Systems

COE Press Equipment highlights their Cut-to-Length Line (CTL) that provides fabricators and metal stampers with cost savings associated with producing blanks in-house, along with a conventional coil line featuring its ServoMaster SM2-18 Zig-Zag Roll Feed.

Posted: November 13, 2013

"Value Series” CTL lines from COE are built to meet each customer’s specific needs and can process coil from 12 in to 72 in wide, .010 in to .250 in material thickness, and 6,000 lb to 60,000 lb coil weights in a variety of materials including CR Steel, HR Steel, Galvanized, Stainless, Pre-painted and Aluminum.
The ServoMaster SM2-18 Zig-Zag Roll Feed allows parts to be fed in a staggered pattern for optimum material usage. This feed can attain a roll speed of 576 fpm with a ±0.003 in feed accuracy.

COE Press Equipment (Sterling Heights, MI) highlights their Cut-to-Length Line (CTL) capability that provides fabricators and metal stampers with cost savings associated with producing blanks in-house. Other benefits include process streamlining, improved quality, and scrap reduction. COE’s “Value Series” CTL lines are built to meet each customer’s specific needs and can process coil from 12 in to 72 in wide, .010 in to .250 in material thickness, and 6,000 lb to 60,000 lb coil weights in a variety of materials including CR Steel, HR Steel, Galvanized, Stainless, Pre-painted and Aluminum.

COE offers a conventional coil line featuring its ServoMaster SM2-18 Zig-Zag Roll Feed, which allows parts to be fed in a staggered pattern for optimum material usage. This feed can attain a roll speed of 576 fpm with a ±0.003 in feed accuracy. The coil line is comprised of a CPPS-250-18 power straightener with a 60 fpm payoff rate and a CPR-DE-6078 double-ended coil reel.

This cut-to-length line from COE can process coil from 18 in to 72 in wide, .020 in to .375 in material thickness, and 6,000 lb to 60,000 lb coil weights in a variety of materials including CR Steel, HR Steel, Galvanized, Stainless, Pre-painted, and Aluminum.

The line can handle coil width up to 18 in, process steel up to .125 in thick x 12 in wide or .100 in thick at 18 in wide, and has coil weight capability up to 6,000 lb. The ServoMaster Series line of roll feeds, power straighteners and coil reels provide the speed, precision, and power required for any-gauge material stamping application. Based upon a modular design with rugged and precise component construction, this series of equipment provides the best value in the industry. www.cpec.com
