Scotchman Industries, Inc.® (Philip, SD) is pleased to announce the addition of the SU-280 Utility Band Saw to their lineup of metal fabrication equipment. The SU-280 features a pull-down pivoting band saw mounted on an elevated cutting table similar to the Scotchman Industries line of cold saws.
Capable of cutting round material up to 8.5 in diameter, the SU-280 offers an increased cutting capacity and has the ability to cut ferrous and non-ferrous materials including tubing, solid material, and structural iron at an affordable price. Standard features of the SU-280 include: single mitering head capable of producing 90 deg, 45 deg, and 30 deg cuts, a quick action locking vise, and carbide blade guides with roller supports.
