Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology (Maple Grove, MN) features the DuraMax Shopfloor CMM, a compact coordinate measuring machine that is now even better suited for shop floor measurements and can also accommodate several workpieces at once. Made for production, this complete CNC coordinate measuring machine replaces many gages. It measures with temperature stability up to to +30 deg C.
The DuraMax uses a probe for single-point measuring and scanning, with a stylus receptacle for CNC-guided stylus changes and an adapter plate with 25 mm diameter for optimal reproducibility. The machine requires minimal space and is easy to set up, with a well-equipped standard configuration that includes scanning with a VAST XXT sensor.

The DuraMax is easy to use and can be loaded from three sides. It has a practical stylus rack that provides more room to work. it uses reliable drive technology with completely covered guideways, an integrated damping system, and compensation of guideway errors (CAA corrected). The DuraMax uses C99 controller technology and CALYPSO measuring software for a fast startup. There is no special installation or power requirements. www.zeiss.com/metrology
