RDI Group Names Fred Kestler New Chief Executive Officer

The RDI Group (Itasca, IL), which provides engineered capital equipment, enclosures and related products to customers worldwide in various industries including asphalt roofing, metal coil processing, power and utilities and road construction, has named Fred Kestler as chief executive officer. Curtis Maas, chairman and chief executive officer since 1984, will remain as chairman of the board and will focus on his board leadership of RDI and other business ventures.

For the past six years, as president and vice president of sales and marketing, Kestler, age 46, has led the company in delivering on its mission of “Building Great Machines”. He has achieved this through leading and growing the company’s sales and marketing efforts and focusing the entire organization on serving customers.

Under Kestler’s leadership, the company has created and integrated a state-of-the-art workflow management system which allows the company to deliver its products and services faster and better serve customers. “I look forward to continuing to lead The RDI Group to accomplish our core mission – Build Great Machines.
