Omron Among Best Places to Work in Illinois

Omron Automation and Safety (Shaumburg, IL) is one of thirty-five small-to-medium size companies that were identified by its employees as the best places to work in the state of Illinois for 2013.

The “Best Places to Work in Illinois” is an annual workplace analysis and competition involving in-depth surveys of each company’s employee base and human resource practices and extension programs. According to the competition’s website, “The results are analyzed and categorized according to 8 Core Focus Areas: Leadership and Planning, Corporate Culture and Communications, Role Satisfaction, Work Environment, Relationship with Supervisor, Training and Development, Pay and Benefits and Overall Engagement.”

In addition to the prestige and honor for being named to the list, summary reports are provided back to the participating companies to shed insight as to their organization’s strengths, opportunities for improvement, and metrics of their employees’ demographics, engagement and satisfaction. The companies also receive benchmark summary reports to see how they compare to other companies in the state on numerous employment issues.
