Mecal USA’s (Loves Park, IL) FE400 double head miter saw with disappearing blades specifically studied for the tubular steel shapes. The machine features automatic positioning of the movable unit and pneumatic tilting of the cutting heads on pre selected angles (135 deg, 90 deg, 45 deg). It is equipped with the TS690 system.

Features of the FE400 include a frontal and straight blade feed with speed adjustments and a hydro-pneumatic blade feed. It also has a coolant liquid vat with extractable pump for vat cleaning and speed of rotation of the blades, variable by means of a frequency converter (inverter blade lubrication cooling system with electric pump).
