Starrett-Bytewise Measurement Systems is proud to welcome and announce Justin Anderson as North American sales director for the Profile360 line of laser measurement technology.
In his new role at Starrett-Bytewise Measurement Systems (Athol, MA), Justin Anderson will be responsible for driving revenue through sales and marketing activities of the Profile360 measurement system across all of North America.
Justin joins the firm from Werth Inc., a provider of optical measurement technology solutions. During his time at Werth he honed his skills delivering measurement solutions to Engineering and Quality Management teams of multi-million dollar companies.
His successful tenure saw sales growth in excess of $1 million dollars for his region as well as decreased cost per lead and improved efficiency in the sales and marketing process. Justin also brings sales and engineering experience from Medtronic-Physio Control, where he led a turnaround of a failing territory into the largest profit generator on the West Coast.
“With my background in both business and measurement technology, I am very excited about the opportunities presented by the Profile360 and in helping our core customers understand how much of an impact this technology can have on their operation,” says Anderson. Jim Williams, global sales director for Starrett-Bytewise says, “We are excited to have someone like Justin join our team and be able to provide the highest quality service and experience that our customers have come to expect from purchasing and implementing the Profile360.” Justin joins the team with an Engineering and Business degree earned while serving in the US Navy.
Profile360 is an in-line, real-time, non-contact measurement system for continuously monitoring key profile dimensions in complex shapes such as rubber, ceramic, plastic, and wood-plastic composite extrusions, roll-formed metal profiles, and profiled wire. Profile360 employs CrossCheck Line Laser Sensors to digitize the profile, compare it to a CAD template, and continuously monitor key dimensions.
Dimension changes often indicate a change in material, equipment, or process, resulting in poor quality or high scrap or reclaim cost. The Profile360 saves valuable time and money with its numerous applications and advantages. Some benefits of the Profile360 include faster startups and changeovers, reduced scrap, improved measurement quality, and 100 percent product certification.
