Inspection Welding Cart Allows Easy Access for Integrity Testing

Bilsing Automation recently announced new weld inspection custom fixturing for body shop.
Bilsing Automation North America (Roseville, MI) has announced its new custom-designed Weld Inspection Cart capability, which allows easy access to all body panel welds for integrity testing. The carts can be tailored to hold any shaped workpiece and are built on wheels for easy portability.
Components — such as fenders, hoods, doors — are mounted to the carts with mechanical clamps. A pivot feature then allows the operator to adjust the component up, down or over for convenient access to both the front and back of the workpiece making it easy to do visual weld inspection and physical weld integrity testing.
The robust inspection carts are designed to support workpiece weight as well as physical impact via destructive testing applied to verify weld integrity. The Weld Inspection Carts are typically loaded near the end of line and completed with a Lift Assist. For companies that do not already have a Lift Assist in place there is potential that Bilsing Automation can provide this solution as well.
