The logistics move is designed to seamlessly streamline shipping operations and better serve customers.
Seco Tools (Troy, MI) is relocating its U.S. distribution center from Troy, Michigan to Hebron, Kentucky, a move that will streamline shipping operations and better serve customers. The company began discontinuing customer order pickups in Troy, and on July 8, shipment of the company’s metal cutting solutions began from the new location.
With the relocation, no changes will be made to the customer order entry process, the functionality of web applications or the company’s carbide recycling program. Furthermore, customers in Canada and Mexico can expect the same shipment timing of their orders.
“We expect the relocation to be as seamless as possible with minimal, if any, impact on customer orders,” said Kurt Nordlund, president of Seco Tools in North America. “If an issue should arise, however, we will address it immediately, as customer satisfaction is our top priority.”
