Carl Zeiss Fixture Systems continues to grow as a global supplier of purpose-built checking, SPC, attribute, optical (white light/ blue light/ laser—manual or robotic), CMM holding and meisterbock (metal-match) fixtures for automotive OEMs and tier suppliers.
Carl Zeiss Fixture Systems now has operations in North America, Europe and Asia with additional consulting centers across 18 countries. This broad presence allows them to easily reduce their customers’ global fixture costs by streamlining initial design, development and standardization processes. Both individual location and overall program costs are reduced with this new approach, while Carl Zeiss fixtures ensure consistent and uniform production part quality globally, regardless of the customer’s manufacturing location.
Fixtures Support North American Truck of the Year
Chrysler Group LLC (Detriot, MI) uses meisterbocks from Carl Zeiss Fixture Systems at their Warren, MI and Saltillo, Mexico truck assembly plants. Both plants produce the Ram 1500, which was named 2013 North American Truck of the Year. Meisterbocks assess the fit and relationship of auto body parts and subassemblies to facilitate processes and root cause analyses in production. [email protected], www.zeiss.com
