John Blicha will direct advertising, literature, trade shows and inquiry management efforts and manage all corporate public relations and promotional activities.
Charlie Ingram, the vice president of sales and marketing at Eriez® (Erie, PA), announced that John Blicha has been promoted to director of corporate communications and will direct advertising, literature, trade shows and inquiry management efforts and manage all corporate public relations and promotional activities, including the website and Global Link employee newsletter. He will also coordinate global marketing communications and social media programs as he reports to Ingram.
Blicha joined the company in 2012 as marketing communications manager, bringing 16 years of experience as a marketing executive within the software, aerospace and manufacturing industries. He came to Eriez from Molded Fiber Glass Tray of Linesville, PA, where he served as the director of marketing. In that role, Blicha was responsible for the overall development and execution of the company’s strategic marketing program.
Blicha earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He went on to earn a master’s degree in Business Administration from California University of Pennsylvania.
