Mate Precision Appoints India Sales Manager

Amit Pande is the new sales manager for India, responsible for customer relationships in India.

Mate Precision Tooling (Anoka, MN), a world-leading manufacturer of CNC punch press tooling, is pleased to announce the appointment of Amit Pande as sales manager for India, responsible for customer relationships in India.

In announcing the appointment, Jim Thomas, the vice president of international sales, said, “Amit Pande has a proven track record for technical support and he understands the needs of customers. His appointment will further accelerate our customer penetration providing products and services in these important Asian markets.”

Pande has a comprehensive background of achievement in the Asian sheet metal industry. From 2008 through 2012, he worked as the product manager of the Yawei and Prima Power punch press, press brake, and laser product lines at Electronica Hitech Machines Pvt. Ltd., a branded distributor of metal cutting and metal forming machines.

Prior to that position, he worked as a senior sales engineer from 2006 though 2008 at Nextgen CNC Hytek Pvt. Ltd., which sells press brake and punch press tooling and visual inspection systems. Pande speaks fluent English, Hindi and Marathi and holds a Masters Degree in Instrumentation Science from Pune University. He will have an office in Pune, India.
