Desilets brings experience on multi-axis machining centers and mill-turn centers to support customers with NCSIMUL machining simulation software solutions.
Spring Technologies Inc. (Cambridge, MA) is pleased to announce that John Desilets has joined the company as an applications engineer. “Our customers will benefit tremendously from John’s wealth of expertise in CNC machining in general and in our simulation software in particular,” said Silvère Proisy, the U.S. general manager.
Desilets has more than ten years experience as a CNC machinist and programmer for multi-axis machining centers, mill-turn centers, and other metalworking processes. His most recent position was at Ferrotec Corporation in New Hampshire.
“I look forward to helping customers improve their productivity by using the NCSIMUL software to the most of its capabilities,” said Desilets. “As with any software program, there are often underused features that can really make a difference in making programming faster and easier, making the process more efficient, reducing scrap, and extending tool life.”
Desilets is based in Spring Technologies’ North American headquarters in Cambridge.
