This key management position will support an expanding steel work platform portfolio and lean manufacturing initiatives for mezzanines, vertical lifts, and safety guarding products.

Wildeck, Inc. (Waukesha, WI), the largest manufacturer of industrial steel work platforms (mezzanines), material lifts (VRCs), and safety guarding products, has appointed Noel Neris to the position of Lean Leader for its North American operations, based in Waukesha.

Wildeck builds products that enable its customers to improve capacity, efficiency and safety throughout their facilities, including distribution centers, warehouses, and manufacturing operations nationwide.

According to Keith G. Pignolet, the president of Wildeck, “2012 has been a successful year for us and fpr our subsidiary Ladder Industries (Goodyear, AZ), and we have experienced continuing growth in all product lines. To more effectively coordinate our ‘Lean Enterprise’ initiatives throughout the company so that we can continue to manufacture the high quality products we are known for in the industry, I am extremely pleased to welcome Noel to our driven team of Employee Owners.”

To support the company’s aggressive business growth, Neris will report directly to the president and will be responsible for the implementation of lean strategies, coordination of Kaizen events, lean training, developing key metrics for lean deployment, and streamlining company procedures and processes (Value Stream Mapping) to reduce cycle times and improve work-flow.

Neris is fluent in both Spanish and English and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Industrial Management, and he brings over six years of experience in engineering and quality management to the company. He also has a solid background in the implementation of “lean” tools, data analysis, and is Green Belt Six Sigma Certified.

Now in its 36th year, Wildeck has grown through a dedicated and experienced network of customer-service-oriented dealers and systems integrators, nationwide. All products are “Made in USA” and are crafted with confidence at modern manufacturing facilities in Waukesha, as well as its subsidiary, Ladder Industries, in Goodyear. www.wildeck.com
