Metabo Welcomes Seasoned Marketing Manager

New manager is responsible for supporting development of the power tool and abrasives manufacturer’s distribution channel in the industrial, construction and welding markets.

Metabo Corporation (West Chester, PA), a leading international manufacturer of professional grade portable electric power tools and abrasives for industrial, construction and welding applications, has hired Jere L. Geib, Jr. as its new marketing manager, responsible for marketing, advertising, and sales promotions as well as supporting the development efforts for the company’s distribution channel.

Martin Cross, the president of Metabo, noted, “Over the past 16 years, Jere has held an array of positions in the field of marketing and communications. As a result, he brings well-rounded experience to our team and company. His vast knowledge of sales, marketing and communications will help us develop strategies to meet the changing needs of our customers as well as our sales network.”

Before joining the company Geib was the director of marketing for Translogistics, Inc. (Birdsboro, PA), where he served as a member of the executive management team developing and executing strategic marketing, business and development plans for the company. Prior to that, he held various marketing and public relations positions for a variety of global electronics manufacturers and distributors including Tyco Electronics, Phoenix Contact, TVC Communications and Harsco Corporation.
