LVD Strippit (Akron, NY), a leading manufacturer of metalforming equipment, including turret punch presses, laser cutting machines, press brakes, shears, and CAD/CAM programming software, has announced additions to its manufacturing management team.
Lieven Decloedt has been named to the position of Manufacturing Manager, responsible for leading all machine shop, assembly, and manufacturing engineering initiatives, emphasizing efficient manufacturing practices.
Decloedt has held several progressively responsible managerial and engineering positions with various companies. Most recently he filled the role of product engineering manager with LVD Company nv (Gullegem, Belgium). He holds an MBA from Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School in Belgium and resides in Williamsville, NY.
Michael Stanchak has been appointed Assembly Supervisor, responsible for the supervision of all machine building and assembly activities for the products manufactured at the Akron facility.
Stanchak has several years of manufacturing experience serving in roles as operations manager, production supervisor, process engineering and ISO auditor. Most recently he was a shift supervisor with Erie Logistics. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Buffalo State College and is a resident of Buffalo.
