The company hires two new regional managers to handle growth in the abrasive waterjet machine business in Indiana, Southern Illinois, Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and parts of Tennessee.

As OMAX Corporation continues to experience increased demand for its advanced abrasive waterjet machines across the country, the company has expanded its sales force to include two new regional managers, Dustin Grim and John Leszczyna. While Grim is responsible for Indiana and Southern Illinois, Leszczyna handles Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and parts of Tennessee.

In their new roles, Grim and Leszczyna will manage the growing direct sales activities of the company’s premium JetMachining® Centers, versatile MAXIEM® JetCutting Centers and high-performance accessories within their respective territories. The company takes extra care in selecting who sells its high-speed, precision-engineered waterjets. Grim and Leszczyna will both work to strategically expand the company’s distribution network, looking for those companies that have proven success in selling machine tools and high marks for their customer service and support.

Grim and Leszczyna will also build and maintain rapport with the company’s current wellestablished distributor partners, identify new manufacturing opportunities and survey end-user needs and manufacturing trends to assist in new product development. Prior to joining OMAX, Grim and Leszczyna followed solid career paths steeped in sales, management and manufacturing technology.

“We are excited to have Dustin and John become part of our world-class sales team. Their valuable experience and highly motivated personalities will serve our customers well,” said Mike Ruppenthal, the vice president of North American sales. “Dustin and John are exceptionally customer focused and have what it takes to help manufacturers from all industry segments remain competitive in today’s challenging marketplace.”

Grim previously worked as an administrator for Trading Place, LLC/Shipshewana Auction, Inc. in Indiana, and also owned and operated his own independent food distribution company. Furthermore, he is familiar with the company’s brand, having successfully worked here between 2006 and 2009 as the regional sales manager for Michigan and Ontario, Canada.

Leszczyna began his career as a journeyman tool and die maker and machinist and became a process engineer and tool room supervisor before holding sales, service and management positions at various companies in the manufacturing productivity industry. He was an account manager in machine tool and industrial sales divisions at E.C. Blackstone Company (Memphis, TN) and later became account manager in the tool division at Kearney Machinery (Birmingham, AL).

In 2000, Leszczyna became general manager at Blaylock Machine (Tull, AR) before being named sales engineer at Jeffreys Manufacturing (Colfax, NC), where he assisted in the design and development of conventional CNC manufacturing processes and consulted with customers to improve current and future processes and technical integration.

OMAX® designs and manufactures some of the world’s most advanced abrasive waterjet technology in a variety of table sizes and price points at its headquarters in Kent. Backed by unmatched support and powered by the company’s intuitive control software, the company product lines bring affordable performance to a continuously expanding range of industries. www.omax.com
