Hydro Aluminum North America, Inc. (Linthicum, MD) continues to strengthen its leadership, adding two key members to its strategic team. “This is an important time in the development of our business,” says Matthew Dionne, who leads the unit. “The appointment of our newest officers follows an extensive executive search and I am confident their level of leadership and experience will afford them success in driving the day-to-day execution of company objectives.”
Bringing more than 15 years experience in senior human resources leadership roles with global corporations, including United Technologies, Alcoa and Avery Dennison, Eileen Brooks is now responsible for furthering the development of Hydro North America’s human resources and health, safety and environmental functions.
She will partner with leaders throughout the sector to help build an environment where all employees are engaged in helping meet the needs of the manufacturing industry. Brooks has a master’s in business administration, with an emphasis on general management, from UCLA, and a bachelor of arts in management from University of Redlands.
As a key member of the company’s leadership team, James Borzi will work with regional vice presidents and their operational leaders to drive a high-performance culture of continuous improvement through the application of the company’s manufacturing excellence model and lean manufacturing principles and methods. He will also help refine Hydro’s value proposition by providing technical support, training and education to sales and operations teams, and to external customers.
Borzi worked in manufacturing and operations leadership roles prior to joining Hydro. He has a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Pennsylvania State and a master of science in manufacturing management from Kettering University.
