The 8065 CNC uses proprietary advanced features necessary for high speed machining that maintain the best surface finish with maximum accuracy.

Fagor Automation USA Corporation (Elk Grove Village, IL) displays the all new high performance 8065 CNC in Booth E-5230 at IMTS 2012. Designed specifically with the aerospace market in mind, the 8065 CNC is equipped with proprietary advanced features necessary for high speed machining, yet maintaining the best surface finish with maximum accuracy.

Each 8065 is offered with a 10 in or 15 in high resolution LCDTFTColor or touch screen, Ethernet,USBand built-in touch sensitive mouse pad. The 8065 can control up to 28 axes + 4 separate spindles with four different execution channels and includes Auto-Tuning system set-up capability. The 8065 ability includes block processing speeds of <0.5 ms while analyzing the tool path with advanced high speed block look-ahead utilizing nano-metric resolution.

This, combined with the Adaptive Real-time Feed & Speed control (ARFS), theCNC analyzes the machining conditions such as spindle load, servo power, tool tip temperature and adapts both the axis feedrate and the spindle speed for maximum machining performance productivity. This reduces cycle time coupled with a superior part finish. Extended spindle and servo motor life is also accomplished as well as improved tool utilization.

Equipped with the aerospace-specific HSSA (High Speed Surface Accuracy) machining system, the user receives a double benefit of reduced mechanical stress on the machine, thus increased machine tool lifespan. The On-board Bode diagram tool measures the machine’s frequency response, thus allowing the possibility to actually filter the machine vibrations incurred by the various operating conditions and environment.
