These oil-resistant and flame-retardant control cables from Helukabel are ideal for medium mechanical stresses with free movements in dry, damp, or wet indoor environments.

In Booth E-4256 at IMTS 2012, Helukabel® USA (Elgin, IL) will exhibit its enhanced JZ 603 and JZ 603-CY Control Cables that have received regulatory approval for use in equipment manufactured for export to China and Russia. These additional approvals now allow equipment manufacturers to reduce costs by keeping only one cable in stock to produce equipment for use in the United States, Europe, Canada, China and Russia.

Multinorm, or multi-approval, control cables are used in nearly all machines, plants and devices intended for export. The JZ 603 and JZ 603-CY cables are the first control cables to receive five global certifications – UL (US), HAR (Europe), CSA (Canada), CCC (China) and GOST-R (Russia).

Oil-resistant and flame-retardant, the JZ 603 and JZ 603-CY Control Cables are suitable for medium mechanical stresses with free movements in dry, damp, or wet indoor environments. Combining cable performance with multiple approvals makes these control cables the perfect choice for manufacturers who export machinery, control systems, assembly lines, and other industrial equipment to companies around the world.

The company also recently acquired Robotec Systems GmbH (Kamp-Lintfort, Germany) and made it a fully-owned subsidiary. Helukabel’s former robotics business unit, Heluroboticsâ, has merged with the newly acquired subsidiary and operates under the Robotec Systems name. The new Robotec Systems offers the complete range of robotic cabling services from system analysis, consultation and planning to design, installation and warranty maintenance.

The combination of the two robotic entities will provide stronger market penetration around the globe by further advancing robotic cable systems for industries that rely heavily on the use of robots for automated work flow, which include aerospace, automotive, consumer goods, food, metal fabrication, medical, pharmaceutical and packaging. “Robotec Systems enabled Helukabel to continue offering U.S. and Canadian customers enhanced levels of robotic services,” says Helukabel USA president Marc Luksch. www.helukabel.com
