An overview of the company and its organization, products, services and capabilities.
Infinity Rebuild Incorporated was formed in 2001. Formerly the Okuma Rebuild Division, Infinity Rebuild has carried on the tradition of supporting Okuma customers by providing the highest quality machine tool rebuilds available. Together with Okuma, Infinity has established itself as the benchmark for quality machine tools by using only Okuma proprietary components on each Okuma we rebuild. This ensures quality and longer life for your machines after they have been rebuilt by us.
From project management to rebuild technicians, our staff is knowledgable – with an average of 10 years of Okuma assembly and service experience – and equipped to handle all of your Okuma rebuild needs effectively and efficiently. Part of our process is saddle and cross slide rebuilds, turret and tailstock rebuilds, vertical and horizontal machining center head rebuilds, machining center saddle and table re-alignments, OSP and GE Fanuc control, retrofits.
Additional processes include bed grinding, hand scraping and fitting all slides; mechanical and electrical rebuilds; and deinstallation and reinstallation assistance for Okuma distributor and customer personnel. As the exclusive Okuma America rebuilder, Infinity Rebuild uses Okuma-engineered parts and fixtures. Over 350 parts are replaced and are upgraded (where possible) to the latest revision further enhancing machine performance. The processes and certifications used by IRI are the same as those of Okuma. The equipment used for inspection is certified to Okuma’s exacting standards. All Okuma sub-assemblies are rebuilt to Okuma’s new specifications with new machine warranty, Guaranteed!
Only Infinity Rebuild has the capability to recertify the axis motors and drives, and upgrade drives with the latest engineering revisions. Only Infinity Rebuild has the OEM standards for machine alignments, bearing loads, ballscrew thrust, gear mesh and pressure settings to ensure that your machine is rebuilt to the level you would expect of an exclusive Okuma rebuilder. Rebuilding your existing equipment to like-new condition lets you recapture its original productivity for 50-60 percent of the cost of a new machine. Let us show you why today!
