The factory direct manufacturer’s representative of process equipment earned the award as the most outstanding U.S. field sales office for Eriez Manufacturing for bulk material conveying machinery.
Charlie Ingram, the vice president of sales and marketing for Eriez® Manufacturing Company (Erie, PA), recently announced that Dominion-Carolina Sales, Inc. (High Point, NC) earned the 2010 Merwin Award as its most outstanding U.S. field sales office. “The team hit on all cylinders in 2010,” said Ingram. “They exceeded their goals in each assigned market and each assigned product group; truly outstanding achievements!”
Ingram pointed out that while Dominion-Carolina took the top prize this year, an impressive (and record) 21 field sales offices exceeded their full-year sales goals to become Merwin Award finalists. “We experienced a very good improvement in overall business activity in 2010 as the economy and fortunes of our key markets began the climb out of recession,” he said.
Dominion-Carolina has been representing Eriez for more than 60 years. The winning sales team includes Jeffrey A. Carr, Brenda Carr, J. Dale Grimsley, Janet Shackleford, Andrew Harris, Ralph Brandstaetter and Leon Richardson. The team previously won the Merwin Award in 2000. 2010 marks the fifth straight year the team has successfully exceeded their sales goal.
