An independent panel selected the machine tool builder for its area training programs, aggressive local hiring, and its solid economic rebound during the manufacturing recovery.
The Florence, KY facility of Mazak Corporation was recently recognized as one of 15 Greater Cincinnati/Tristate companies that have shown outstanding manufacturing success. Mazak was awarded the esteemed Manny Award at the 5th Annual Manny Awards banquet in June at the Cintas Center at Xavier University, celebrating manufacturing excellence.
An independent panel selected Mazak under the Award’s “Biggest Breakthrough” category based on the company’s growth in the community, its strong involvement in area training programs, aggressive hiring at its Florence manufacturing facility, and its solid economic rebound. The machine tool OEM reported record levels of business for the opening months of this year, and that momentum continues at a steady pace as the year progresses.
