The welding and cutting industry has lacked a truly comprehensive online resource that addresses all aspects of the industry . . . until now.

Before, if a welder wanted to find information on what power source was best for his applications, see reviews on those power sources, and talk with representatives from those manufacturers and distributors, this meant he had to go to each company’s website, try and contact someone in customer service (if he was offered the option) and then, in many cases, wait days in order to find what he needed.

That was then. Now enter Weld.com, a new website created by BUG-O Systems Inc. (Canonsburg, PA) and Weld.com LLC to provide an all encompassing resource to the welding and cutting industry. “Weld.com provides more than just a company profile and some contact information,” says Chip Cable, the founder of Weld.com. All directories currently available to the welding industry are either too complex to find what you need quickly, or so specialized that they leave out many aspects of the industry.”

Weld.com is on target to launch in the fall of 2011. It will give users the opportunity to directly engage with industry leaders, see full line cards and product reviews without leaving the site, and perhaps the best feature of all, the new website lets them find exactly what they need, simply and easily, with any of their multiple search features (unlike other directory websites currently for the industry).

As the name implies, Weld.com is geared towards an all-encompassing market in the welding industry. Welders can find information on manufacturers, distributors, manufacturer’s representatives, consultants, schools, job postings, and much more. For a limited time, companies can register for free on this new website. Go to www.weld.com for more information.
