Mazak Receives Silver Boeing Performance Excellence Award

Boeing recognized suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. Mazak is one of the suppliers to receive the Silver level of recognition by maintaining a Silver composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period from October 1, 2009 to September 30, 2010.

Earlier this year, Mazak Corporation (Florence, KY) received a 2010 Boeing Performance Excellence Award from the Boeing Company, which issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. Mazak maintained a Silver composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period from October 1, 2009 to September 30, 2010.

This year, Boeing recognized suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. Mazak is one of the suppliers to receive the Silver level of recognition. “Across the board, Mazak prides itself on exceeding the traditional supplier relationship and treating our customers as partners,” said Brian Papke, the president of Mazak Corporation. “We are honored to receive this recognition from Boeing, as it is a testament to the dedication and hard work of every member of our organization.”

Mazak supplies a wide range of Multi-Tasking and milling centers to Boeing for a variety of different configurations, including both horizontal and vertical machines from the e-Series. Boeing also uses a substantial number of Mazak vertical machining centers with high-speed and 5-axis capabilities.
