Line of drills reduces the risk for delamination or splintering in composite materials.
Sandvik Coromant‘s (Sandviken, Sweden) CoroDrill 452 drills are designed for drilling rivet and bolt holes in carbon reinforced plastics and metallic stack materials.
Each carbon fiber material has its own demands, which increases the risk for delamination or splintering. These new CoroDrill geometries reduce this risk, ensuring the stringent hole tolerances are met with exceptional finish and quality.
