Bystronic Inc. (Hauppauge, NY) has officially broken ground for their new multi-million dollar North American headquarters based in Elgin, IL. The January groundbreaking ceremony was attended by local Elgin town officials, local press as well as industry press. Bystronic will move its North American headquarters from Hauppauge, NY, to Elgin, IL, to provide a more central location in serving the North American market.
The new location at 300 Airport Road will be a 48,300 sq ft build-to-suit building complete with a 10,000 sq ft office, a 14,000 sq ft showroom and a 24,300 sq ft spare parts and logistics area. The new building will be the marketing, sales and training headquarters for North America. A grand opening celebration is planned for October of 2011.
