The fourth annual All China-International Wire and Cable Industry Trade Fair and Tube China 2010 recently closed to very successful results in Shanghai, with the more than 1,300 exhibitors reporting remarkable success despite still experiencing the influence of the post-economic crisis. With 801,911 sq ft of exhibit space (430,550 sq ft at Wire China 2010 and 371,350 sq ft at Tube China 2010) , this event reached a record high – an increase of 30 percent compared to the 2008 staging. Wire and Tube China has become Asia’s largest, and the world’s second largest, trade fair for these industries and is considered a leading platform for entering the Chinese market.

A great number of visitor groups from India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam participated in Wire and Tube China 2010. The majority of all attendees rated their participation as successful and gave the range of products on display and the services provided high marks.

Wire and Tube China has become even more well known internationally and featured 10 country group exhibits from Austria, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, North America, South Korea, Spain and Taiwan. Overall, exhibitors stated that they received many orders and were pleased with the results of the exhibition. They also confirmed many business opportunities resulting from the trade fair. Several country pavilions and individual exhibitors plan to expand their booth space in 2012 in order to increase their business.

Highlights at Wire and Tube China 2010 were the three special exhibition areas (chemical area, wire area and wire products and spring fasteners area) as well as the ancillary program with conferences and unique events. Wire China and Tube China will take place again at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from September 25-28, 2012.
