The CNC NZL2500 two-turret lathe from DMG/Mori Seiki (Chicago, IL)offers milling ability equivalent to that of a No. 40 taper machining center. This two-turret lathe is equipped with the Y-axis function (Y-type only) for Turret 1, and BMT (Built-in Motor Turret) that offers milling ability equivalent to that of a No. 40 taper machining center. The machine also has four variations of through-spindle holes for the high-output spindle, and it is capable of cutting various workpieces.
A bed equipped with three independent slideways offers ease of use and high rigidity and multi-axis machining is made possible by incorporating the Y-axis function with Turret 1 (Y-axis travel: +70 mm to minus 50 mm [+2.7 in to minus 1.9 in]). Core cooling is used for the X-axis (X1, X2) as standard to offer high-precision machining.
