REDUCE LINER REPLACEMENT TIME BY HALF
On QUICK LOAD liners from Tregaskiss, the welding operator needs only to remove the front-end nozzle, retaining head and contact tip, then feed the liner through the front of the robotic MIG gun and over the wire, using it as a guide.

Tregaskiss (Windsor, ON) QUICK LOAD liners are now standard on all TOUGH GUN air-cooled robotic MIG guns, including the TOUGH GUN ThruArm Series and TOUGH GUN G2 Series.
QUICK LOAD Liners consist of a front-loading two-piece system that requires less than half the time and effort for replacement compared to conventional robotic MIG gun liners. To replace a QUICK LOAD Liner, the welding operator needs only to remove the front-end consumables (nozzle, retaining head and contact tip), feed the liner through the front of the robotic MIG gun and over the wire, using it as a guide. There is no need to cut the wire and the robotic MIG gun can remain in position during replacement, which minimizes downtime related to maneuvering around tooling or transferring systems.
It also allows for liner changeover from a safe-zone outside the work cell during routine pauses in production. Tregaskiss offers the QUICK LOAD Liners in five different sizes to accommodate .030 in, .035 in to .045 in, .045 in to 1/16 in, 1/16 in to 5/64 in and .078 in to 3/32 in wire diameters. The liners are part of Tregaskiss' Common Consumable Platform: products that are common across Tregaskiss semi-automatic, automatic and robotic MIG guns and allow users of multiple styles of guns to simplify and reduce their overall inventory of welding consumables.
