Toyoda Machinery has added two large-capacity vertical machining centers: the FV1890 and FV20 90, designed to deliver high performance and extreme precision in heavy-duty applications.
The VMCs offer a range of spindle options for high-precision and heavy-cutting applications. The standard 6,000 rpm spindle delivers high rotational accuracy, thermal stability and maximum vibration dampening characteristics. The large precision spindle bearings increase rigidity and sustain higher load capacities than similarly priced machines from other manufacturers.
The FV1890 has an X axis travel of 70.4 in and the FV2090 has an X axis travel of 78.7 in. As the largest of Toyoda's vertical machining centers, these machines are ideal for manufacturers with heavy-duty machining needs.
Toyoda's vertical machining center line offers unsurpassed performance and value. Superior structural rigidity delivers extreme precision and lasting performance. Sophisticated automation technologies allow drastic improvements in part throughput. The large machine opening provides easy operator access resulting in higher efficiency during setup.
